How to redeem a Steam Gift?

It takes just a couple of steps to redeem your Steam Gift. Here's how:

OPTION 1

1. With your purchase, you will receive a gift link. Copy and paste that link in your web browser.
   
2. Depending on the prompt please provide your Steam profile link or login via Steam.
   
   To get your Steam profile link, open the Steam client, click your username in the top right, and select View my profile. Right-click anywhere on your profile page and select "Copy Page URL".
   
   
3. If needed, choose the same country as your store country found in Steam account details. You can check this setting on Steam here.
4. The automated bot system will add your account to the friendlist. Make sure to accept all the invitations, as it may take a couple of bots. You may remove those accounts from your friendlist once your game is delivered and claimed.

1. Enter the Steam Gift URL into your Internet browser.

2. Log in to your Steam account.

3. Accept the Steam Gift by choosing Accept at the bottom of the screen, and add the game to your Library.

The key is not working

If you have activated the key according to the guide but the code appears not to work, please check what type of error message you receive and depending on it follow the appropriate instructions:

• My Steam Gift is Invalid. How can I proceed?
• My key is Invalid
• My key is region locked / can't be activated in my country
• My key activated a different product
• My key did not activate all of the content
