How to activate your purchased Nintendo Account?

Activating your Nintendo Account is really simple. Make sure to follow these few steps:

On website - https://accounts.nintendo.com (official Nintendo website).

1. Click Sign in.
2. Enter the account email address provided with the order.
3. Enter the password, make sure to copy-paste it.
4. Complete two-factor authentication (if required).
5. Click Sign in to access the account.

On device:

1. Turn on your Nintendo Switch.
2. Go to System Settings (gear icon).
3. Select Users → Add User.
4. Choose Create New User → Sign in and Link.
5. Enter the account email address provided with the order.
6. Enter the password.
7. Complete two-factor authentication (if required).
8. Confirm to link the account to the console.

The account details are not working

If you have activated the key according to the guide but the code appears not to work, please check what type of error message you receive and depending on it follow the appropriate instructions:  

• My key is Duplicated / Already used
• My key is Invalid
• My key is region locked / can't be activated in my country
• My key activated a different product
• My key did not activate all of the content
