How to activate Windows by phone?

Activating a any of the versions of Microsoft Windows by telephone, just follow these steps:

Select Start > Settings > Update & Security > Activation.
Under Activate Windows Now section, select Activate by Phone.
Select your location (or the location nearest to you) from the drop-down list, and then select Next.
Call one of the available phone numbers listed. An automated system will guide you through the activation process.
If you're not able to complete activation successfully, you will be connected to Microsoft support for your region and country.

Or, if you do not have the Activate by Phone option:

1.Press the Win+R keys to open Run, then type: SLUI 4, then click on OK.

2.Select your country or region, then click Next.

3.Call the provided phone number to reach the Microsoft Product Activation Center. You will first be walked through an automated menu where you must answer a few questions about what product you are trying to activate (Windows 10), whether you have previously activated it (No), and whether you have a product key (Yes).

4.The automated system is about to provide you with an explanation of the Internet Activation process. Although you are already familiar with this information, please wait for the explanation to finish. Upon completion, the system will inquire whether you still require assistance. Please respond with a "Yes" to be transferred to a human operator.

5.The Live Agent will request confirmation of the product that you are attempting to activate. Subsequently, they will inquire whether you possess an Installation ID.

6.The Live Agent will then ask you to read them your Installation ID. I’ve found you can read it to them relatively quickly and they keep up just fine; and if you speak clearly, you usually only have to read it once

7.Upon providing the Installation ID, the Live Agent will transfer you back to the automated telephone system. The system will subsequently provide you with brief instructions before proceeding to read your Confirmation ID aloud. Once the Live Agent hands the call back to the automated system, click “Enter Confirmation ID” and type in the numbers when they are read to you

8.Once you have entered the Confirmation ID, you can click Activate Windows and if your product key is valid and the numbers have been typed in correctly, you should be all set.
