How to activate a Windows 10 key?

Redeeming a Windows 10 key is really simple, just follow these steps:

1. Visit the official Microsoft website and download the official Windows 10 ISO.
2. Click the download button below "Create Windows 10 installation media" to download the media creation tool. 
3. When you are performing an installation of Windows 10 on your PC, you will be prompted to enter your activation code. 

Eventually, after the successful installation of the OS you can go to the Start menu, and then select Settings - Update & Security - Activation - Update product key - Change product key.

OPTION 2

1. Get Installation ID

• Press Win + R, type SLUI 4, and press Enter
• Select your country/region

Write down the Installation ID.

2. Open Microsoft Activation Portal

• Go to https://aka.ms/aoh
• Sign in with your Microsoft account

3. Generate Confirmation ID

• Enter the Installation ID on the portal
• Copy the Confirmation ID provided

4. Complete Activation

• Return to the original PC
• Enter the Confirmation ID to finish activation.

If you have activated the key according to the guide but the code appears not to work, please check what type of error message you receive and depending on it follow the appropriate instructions:

• My key did not activate all of the content
